Quick Birthday Card
Here’s another project using the Silhouette machine. I used the 3D Ruffle Flower shape on polka dot paper for this card. Inked the edges, Stickled the brad, added rhinestones to small circle punches, and a rub-on in the corner. Quick but beautiful birthday card!
I love the ruffle effect! This is really charming. It has a sort of retro feel to it that really works.
You explain it so it seems so easy. I see your cards and think, wow that must have taken a lot of work. Well, at least it would for me.
I like a lot of "wow" factor for the least amount of work. Getting it to look great while still simple is my goal. Unfortunately, sometimes what I think will be simple turns out not to be (like my handmade Christmas cards every year).
It also helps that I've got 10+ years' worth of supplies and tools at my fingertips. I rarely go out and buy something specific for just one project.
