Silhouette Fuzzy Black Vinyl

I just tried the fuzzy black vinyl from Silhouette last night and it is so cool!  I don’t have a completed project yet with it, but I’ll post pictures when I do.  It cut so smoothly (and more quietly than regular vinyl).  I used the preset of a speed of 3 and thickness of 28 with the pink blade, and that was perfect.
The only problem is you can’t see where the cut lines are to do your “weeding.”  I wondered if it had even cut when I pulled it out of the machine, but it had.  My husband suggested shining a flashlight behind it and that worked great to light up the lines of where it has cut.  A light table would work even better.  Between backlight and being able to see the outline from behind on the backing, it won’t be too much trouble to weed out the extra.
I can’t wait to do some projects and show it off!  But first, I’ve got to have Christmas decorations for my cub scouts to make on Tuesday.  I’ll definitely be using the Silhouette for that.
