Christmas Ornaments with the Kids

For a kids’ craft this week, we made homemade Christmas ornaments.  Yesterday we made and baked homemade clay which we cut with cookie cutters.  Today we painted them.  Some didn’t get finished yet, but we had a good time.  My girls were very interested in the painting part.  Acrylic paints work so well because they dry fast.  Still some smearing for one impatient little girl, but it’s all part of the experience.  I remember and still have some ornaments similar to this that I made when I was a little girl.
