Some Assembly Required…
I’ve been busy making kits for a card-making class I’m teaching next week, in case you’re wondering why I haven’t been posting. I had 32 women sign up! Three cards for each person means a lot of shopping, cutting, inking, trimming, stamping, and assembling. I feel like I’m doing Christmas cards again, except once everything’s cut out and sorted I don’t have to glue them all together! My Silhouette has been getting a real workout the past week or two.
Here’s a sneak peek at two of the three cards. Not all the pieces are done yet, but I’m getting there. I’ve got a masculine card that will work for Father’s Day, graduation, or birthday; a colorful birthday card; and I’m working next on an all-occasion card.
Now if I can just decide on a final design and gather all the materials for the third card… This has to be done and ready to teach, with handouts, the evening of the 24th. (Good thing I like to do this; I’m actually having fun and have a good excuse to let the housework slide.) Wish me luck!
I know they'll all be beautiful and each person will be thrilled with the cards. Can't wait to see photos of them. Hugs, Lori m
Don't you love those excuses to put off housework?
