Letterpress Thank You Cards

Letterpress-6

I bought a Lifestyle Crafts L Letterpress bundle deal towards the end of last year, and have found a good use for it. I’ve made 75 of these letterpress thank-you cards and counting…

Since I’m packaging them in sets of 25, including envelopes, I also made a box with my Silhouette Cameo to hold each set.  I modified a box file from the Silhouette Store so the sides were taller and so the lid had a wavy edge (thank you, Studio Designer-Edition knife tool!!).  I placed clear acetate in the window opening of the lid, which really adds to the professional look.

  • Your cards look great! I was VERY close to buying the set when it was on sale but forced myself to walk away because I really do not need ANOTHER crafting hobby.

  • Wow, very nice looking box and cards. The wavy edge really adds to the look of your box, it is so great that you have the knowlege to be able to tweek a file to your ideas.

I just struggle with the silhouette. I wish there was hands on classes locally.

    • I'm sorry to hear that, Lora. The way I learned was to follow the tutorials available at the time (there weren't many back then) and go through all the steps to replicate their project. I still design a lot more things than ever make it to the cutting mat. 🙂
