Girls Camp Pillow Treats: Candy Tubes

These are some of the “pillow treats” I made for our LDS Young Women’s girls camp last summer that I never got around to sharing.  I have a couple more to share with you soon.

I found the quote by President Thomas S. Monson on Pinterest and just designed my own version of it as a print & cut tag in Silhouette Studio, with an offset cut from black pattern paper. I cut both layers of the tag with my Silhouette CAMEO.

You can download my Silhouette Studio print & cut file for this tag HERE.

If you want to cut them with scissors, you can download the PDF tag and offset HERE.

I used a bunch of floss colors in the tags to tie the colors of the YW values and the rainbow candies together.

Here’s a closer look at the quote on a single candy tube. (I used 1″ x 8″ seal-able plastic sleeves and filled them with Wonka Everlasting Gobstopper candies.)

It says, “You have a heritage ~ Honor it. You will meet temptation ~ Withstand it. You know the truth ~ Live it. You possess a testimony ~ Share it.  ~Pres. Monson”

And I don’t know what it is about me, but I just have to line up colors in rainbow order whenever I can. I alternated the starting color in each candy tube, so they made nifty diagonal stripes when all lined up like this. I just had to take a picture of them in this arrangement. It just makes me happy. 🙂
