Girls Camp Pillow Treats: Candy Tubes
These are some of the “pillow treats” I made for our LDS Young Women’s girls camp last summer that I never got around to sharing. I have a couple more to share with you soon.
I found the quote by President Thomas S. Monson on Pinterest and just designed my own version of it as a print & cut tag in Silhouette Studio, with an offset cut from black pattern paper. I cut both layers of the tag with my Silhouette CAMEO.
You can download my Silhouette Studio print & cut file for this tag HERE.
If you want to cut them with scissors, you can download the PDF tag and offset HERE.
I used a bunch of floss colors in the tags to tie the colors of the YW values and the rainbow candies together.
Here’s a closer look at the quote on a single candy tube. (I used 1″ x 8″ seal-able plastic sleeves and filled them with Wonka Everlasting Gobstopper candies.)
It says, “You have a heritage ~ Honor it. You will meet temptation ~ Withstand it. You know the truth ~ Live it. You possess a testimony ~ Share it. ~Pres. Monson”
And I don’t know what it is about me, but I just have to line up colors in rainbow order whenever I can. I alternated the starting color in each candy tube, so they made nifty diagonal stripes when all lined up like this. I just had to take a picture of them in this arrangement. It just makes me happy. 🙂

I love this idea! Where can you buy seal-able plastic sleeves? Katherine
Hi Katherine. You can find them on Amazon, and also probably Etsy or Ebay. I just added a link at the end of the post.
Where did you get the candy? This is so fun!!
I’ve seen these Everlasting Gobstopper candies at my local grocery store and at the Dollar Tree. Hope you can find some, Danielle!
Kelly,
I love your quote tag and rainbow candy. I am doing a Wizard of Oz themed girls camp this year and would love to use this cute idea. Do you sell your designs on etsy? I would love to purchase a pdf or Silhoette version of this tag. Thanks, Eileen
Eileen, I just emailed you the Silhouette Studio file for the tag. Enjoy!
Thank You! : )
Kelly,
I love the tag – where can I get a copy of it?
Thanks, Lesa
Lesa, if you need the Silhouette Studio print & cut file, the link is in the middle of the post, below the first photo. If you don’t have a Silhouette machine, I can see about converting it to a PDF for cutting by hand. (Email me at kelly@findingtimetocreate.com)
God bless you! I just am so grateful for the beautiful message and unique treats our teens can experience as we welcome them to our church. So thankful for you sharing this idea.
Hello, there! I LOVE this! I tried to download it and couldn’t get it to work. Do I need to purchase something?
No purchase necessary. Please send me a note through my contact form and I can email it to you, Maggie!

Hello! I absolutely love the pdf for the tag, would you be willing to email it to me? My email is Annebel41904@gmail.com. Thanks!
Can I please get the tag download? We are doing a girls trip and I would love to have this
Yes! The download links are below the first photo, above.
I am so sorry but I have tried several times to download the tag. It keeps taking me to this “Box” website and will not download.
Box is where those files are held. I’m sorry it’s not working for you. I’ll email you the file directly. 🙂
