Felt Cupcake in a Box
My daughters recently checked out a library book with all kinds of felt crafts, and they made a lot of hand-cut and hand-stitched felt cupcakes. They wanted to give one to their little 6-year-old cousin who was having a birthday, so I made a cute little cupcake box with my Silhouette CAMEO to hold the cupcake.
I added a paper bow on the top of the box, and used a piece of clear acetate behind the window of the box.
Just in case the box gets used a lot, I added a strip of polka dot washi tape on the inside hinge to add a bit of durability.
They loved making this fun felt cupcake, and I loved making the little gift box to house the cupcake. It’s fun to encourage the crafty side of my kids’ interests. Didn’t they do a great job?
Designs Used:

This is so cute. I am off to make one for my grand niece who is also turning 6 soon. Thanks!
Wonderful!
Oh, I forgot to add – Congratulations to your children…lovely job on the cupcake!
Thank you! 🙂
