Pop-Up Birthday Card

Pop-Up Birthday Card with Silhouette Studio - Finding Time To Create

I’ve made another pop-up card using Silhouette Studio version 4.1’s Pop-Up Creator! With Designer Edition and higher, you can adjust the depth of each individual letter or shape, so that’s what I did here.

Here’s the video I made for Silhouette’s YouTube channel, but keep reading after you watch it for more details on this card!

I used the dingbat font LW Birthday 2 Dingbats (#225792) for the cute birthday hat and the phrase, and the numbers use the font PN Fineapple (#120533).

I totally love all the cute dingbat fonts being added to the store lately! They cost more, but there are 26 shapes in each font that can be used however you want. If I were you, I’d start adding these dingbat font sets to my wishlist and wait for a sale of 50% off fonts or all designs!

I’ve had a few people ask me what glue I use, so here are the (affiliate) links:

I love the bottle’s needle applicator. If you leave it upside-down with the cap off in a bowl with a wet paper towel, you can keep using it for a large project without it getting clogged. The glue dries nicely on everything I’ve tried it on, without causing warping like you can get with some liquid glues. I think you can use other liquid glue in that applicator.

And if you like fast-speed assembly videos, here I am putting this card together. (Sorry about the quality. It looks much better on my Instagram and Facebook feeds.)

Happy crafting!
