My daughter had a rough day last week and I knew a notebook would cheer her up, so we made this together. I bought a lot of blank Hobby Lobby notebooks on clearance this past summer and made a Silhouette cutting file to match, …
O.K. I know Halloween is past for this year, but I promised to share this when I posted a sneak peak on Instagram. This is definitely not an original idea; I saw it on Pinterest in several variations (all made from toilet paper rolls), but …
(Originally posted for the Silhouette Blog design team on 11/14/2013) In choosing a birthday card design for this chilly time of year, I opted for this adorable penguin as a focal point. I enjoy paper piecing designs because it leaves so much room for tiny …
(Originally posted on the Silhouette Blog 11/4/2013) I make handmade Christmas cards every year to send to friends and relatives. My goal is always maximum impact for minimum assembly effort. (Never mind how many card versions I go through to find the perfect design!) I …
My friend just had a sweet baby girl last week so I made her this card. There are several baby carriage shapes in the Silhouette online store, but this one just called my name. Even better, it was a great shape to use as …

I made it!!! When Silhouette announced last month that they were creating a design team, I was ecstatic! I was born to do this. 🙂 Silhouette has officially announced their fall/winter design team and I can finally share the wonderful news! I will spend the …
My 7th grade son has his first-term science project due this week. He had a few options to choose from and decided it would be fun to make a children’s book on lab safety. With a little nudge from his mom, he agreed it would …
I created this card with the hexagons back in May but never got around to sharing it until now. Today I turned it into a sympathy card, and below is what I did with it for Mother’s Day. On the upper card I placed a …
Fall is in full swing here in the western U.S., and that means our Thanksgiving is approaching. I was asked to make a gratitude album for the Heartland Paper design team using the Basic Grey Capture album and page protectors. I must say this was …
I made this very simple Thanksgiving place setting today. If I’m going to be making these for our very large family gathering, easy is good. Thanks to my Silhouette, these can be whipped out in practically no time! The simple act of inking the edges …
