A Little Reminder
Need a simple reminder to mass produce with your Silhouette machine and pass out? I love how quick these little clipboards were to put together! I used the Clipboard by Jillibean Soup shape (ID# 30961) from the Silhouette store and turned the paper into a print & cut.
I chose a background pattern fill with a graph paper design, then typed my sentiment and the check mark. The font for the sentiment is Pea Sugar Noodles, and you can find a box and check mark like this from the capital R in the dingbat font Wingdings 2. A print and cut you design yourself is so easy if you just remember to go to your Cut Style Window in Silhouette Studio and choose “cut edge” while all the parts for that design are selected.
Just look at how cute and tiny those little notebook holes are! {♥} I cut the clipboard base with some kraft cardstock I had on hand, then cut the clipboard pieces with silver Silhouette adhesive cardstock from the former Winter collection. I added just a tiny dab of adhesive on the back of each paper, but the adhesive cardstock made it so easy to assemble while adding just the right amount of texture and color.
I think these would be fun to add a little magnet to the back; I told the young women to take them home and put them where they would see them every day–on a mirror, on the fridge, or wherever it would catch their eye.
Kelly, that is the cutest thing!!! Thanks for sharing. I always love your ideas. hugs, Patty
Those are so cute! I'm thinking they would work to attach to the Primary rolls to remind the teachers to mark the roll each week. Thanks for sharing this.
Tawna, that sounds like a great idea!
These are darling! Can't wait to see what else you are make! I am excited to be working along side you on the Silhouette blog this fall/winter!
So Cute!!! Did you change the size of it ?
Kimberly, this is actually the default size to which it opens. (Although you could easily make it bigger.) It's about 4" tall and 2.75" wide.
