Thanksgiving Place Setting

place-setting

I made this very simple Thanksgiving place setting today. If I’m going to be making these for our very large family gathering, easy is good. Thanks to my Silhouette, these can be whipped out in practically no time! The simple act of inking the edges of the leaves and folding and curling them for dimension keeps the design from being too boring.  I saved even more time by using self-adhesive cardstock for the letters. It’s like making your own letter stickers, but with no leftovers. Yay!

You can use any leaf shape in your collection and add it to the Silhouette cutting file I’ve made for you. The place card is 3.5″ wide and 4″ tall before folding. The napkin ring is 5.5″ wide and 1″ tall. The font I used here is Impact.

Download the cutting file here:

The leaf shape I used is from the basket and leaves Silhouette cutting file. I’ve used different leaves in this set many times.

Supplies:
Brown cardstock
Silhouette adhesive cardstock, Autumn collection
Bo Bunny Double Dot pattern paper – Decaf Vintage
