Spooky Eyes
O.K. I know Halloween is past for this year, but I promised to share this when I posted a sneak peak on Instagram. This is definitely not an original idea; I saw it on Pinterest in several variations (all made from toilet paper rolls), but I made my own Silhouette cutting file and want to share it. This is much better than saving those things from the bathroom. 🙂
The original thought is to cut eyes into a toilet-paper roll, stick a glow stick inside, and put it in your bushes on Halloween night. I decided to go with (clean) black paper and cut a bunch with my Silhouette CAMEO.
Here is the final view of the glowing eyes:
How I had these spooky eyes set up in my bushes on Halloween night (a little hard to see in daylight, but that’s kind of the point):
And the Silhouette cutting file for you (click image to download the Studio file):
You can roll them like a toilet-paper tube, but we found it was easier to position them if they had a triangular shape with a flat base. I left off the fold lines so you can roll or fold them however you like. I did use a little tape to secure the glow sticks in place.
Great idea, and thank you for sharing the cutting file – sadly I've never seen any glow in the dark lights here (in Ireland). I'll have to investigate and see if I can track some down.
I made these but used toilet paper rolls instead 🙂 They turn out so cute!
This is brilliant! I am not a fan of using things out of the bathroom, so this is the perfect solution for me! Thanks!

The "eyes" have it!! Great file. Thanks. hugs,Patty
I bought glow in the dark eyes from the Halloween store to put in bushes. They didn't work at all. Just saved this file for next year! Thanks for sharing!
