Here’s a little card I whipped up for a friend. As an experienced card maker I don’t typically use card kits in the Silhouette design store, but this arrow stamp flap card by Kolette Hall just called my name. The card is a flat …
I have wanted to use this beautiful saying ever since I first saw it in the Silhouette design store. I made it as a gift to my sister who has had a rough time the past few years, and who also happens to be …
I spent today helping my daughters make their valentine collection boxes for school this upcoming week. Both girls knew exactly what they wanted, so I just helped them fill in the details with my Silhouette CAMEO. My older daughter (6th grade) wanted an aquarium to …
I have just fallen in love with heat transfer material all over again! Not because I was procrastinating, but because I have been so busy (ahem)…I waited until the day of a baby shower to start on my gift. I got up early and went …
It’s been several consecutive years now that I’ve had to make between 75-90 valentines for my kids’ class parties, so we do simple. OK, it would be easier to just buy pre-made valentines, but where’s the fun in that? I would much rather put my …
I’m excited to share this project with you! I made this little paper bird cage, hung some paper hearts inside, and covered it with tiny hand-shaped flowers. It’s one of my favorite Silhouette projects. Perfect for Valentine’s Day and for spring. I’d call this one …
I’m sharing this sweet little swing in tree decor on the Silhouette America blog today. It’s a great piece of decor for Valentine’s Day, but I think it can be displayed year round. In fact, I made a second one and gave it to some …

Hello, Silhouette fans! I used this week’s free design to make a simple sketched winter card. We have several winter birthdays in our family, and I think this design is great for cards. I sketched the tree with its snowflakes and a sentiment on vellum, …
I just love a new, fresh cutting mat for my CAMEO. My cuts are suddenly perfect again when the paper has a nice tight hold on the mat. (It’s almost as good as a new blade.) Here are a few tips and tricks for getting …
I recently got to participate in a gift swap with the Silhouette Design Team. I’m not great at gift selection and gift-giving in general, so I decided to do completely handmade (with the help of my CAMEO, of course). I have a couple sets of …
This year for Christmas neighbor gifts I gave these cute soap bottle boxes. The month got so busy that I almost gave up on any neighbor gifts at all, but I found this cute 3D hand soap box in the Silhouette design store and …
