Valentine Mailbox

Here’s my entry for Silhouette’s contest for valentines projects. Only one entry per person, so I had to choose which one to submit. This one’s the most complex and it gave me a good reason to get it done.

I used the same techniques here as in my monogram tutorial. The trickiest part in applying this vinyl wrap around the $1 mailbox from Target was getting it around the mailbox flag. I snipped through the vinyl there and then used an exacto knife to fit and trim it just right.  I added some Silhouette rhinestones to the heart on the door for a little extra sparkle using my i-Rock heat setter.

I’ll be giving this one to my “secret sister” so I hope she likes it!  I’ve got more mailboxes to decorate for the kids, so if I get them done I’ll post them here as well.
