Sweet Treat Bouquet

Here’s a fun gift my mom taught me how to make years ago. I gave these out near Valentine’s Day to a few of my neighbors, but you could do this any time for a sweet treat.

I took some thin bamboo skewers, stuck on a cinnamon gummy heart, then placed on a fudge-stripe cookie (the flower-shaped ones are even cuter if you can find them), and finally topped it off with another cinnamon gummy heart. I made about 7 flowers for each pint-sized mason jar, then wrapped and glued some pattern paper around the outside of the jar, and finished it off with a little baker’s twine wrapped around the neck of the jar.

Oh lala! What a terrific idea, and so very simple.

Your creativity never shuts off, I'm always inspired when I visit here.
