Many Thanks (Card)
I made a couple of thank-you cards today. I pinned a card ages ago by Amy from Pickled Paper Designs because I loved it so much, and in the end I copied the layout pretty closely for this card. (There wasn’t anything to improve upon.)
The butterflies are from Echo Park Bird & Butterfly available from the Silhouette Online Store. The rest of the pieces I designed from scratch in Silhouette Studio, including the print & cut tag. (The fonts are You Are Loved and Pea Jenny Script.)
In case you’re wondering how to shape butterfly cutouts or punchouts, just spritz them with a fine mist of water, shape the wings a little with your fingers, then let them dry for 10 minutes or so. These cards will be hand delivered so I’m not worried about the butterflies flattening out.
Now that I’ve got this all designed and ready to cut out with my Silhouette, it will be quick to throw together a thankyou card whenever I need one.
So cute… and simple… I love the papers!
Hi Kelly,
What a nice and soft and lovely card – thanks for sharing the photo. I lay all my cards out in Silhouette software too – because I design to sell in a store locally I generally make my own files because I must have commercial use and its easier and affordable for me to make my own.
I hope all is well with you.
