Baby Boy Cards

We’ve got a couple of baby boys arriving soon in our neighborhood and it’s been a while since I made a baby card. I love the white fuzzy vinyl for card titles, but it really only shows up well on dark, solid backgrounds. On the first card I decided to dress up the solid card front with my new glitter sketch pens and also create a window like in the unicycle card I made in January. The onesie is also cut from white fuzzy vinyl. I was able to ink the edges of the vinyl a little to make the layers stand out.
The bib in the second card is also from the same Silhouette shape set as the onesie. It has a little duck cutout in the center. I pulled the fuzzy white vinyl duck out of the center, inked it with a yellow stamp pad, and replaced it back into the center. I added a little fuzzy yarn from my knitting stash and two little safety pins I bought years ago just to use on baby cards.
The design is Baby Shapes (#3174) in the Silhouette Design Store.

Oh, my gosh! I just love these! They're adorable!
I've got a confession to make. I spend much more time on my cards than choosing the gift to go with it. It's the ultimate compliment to me when I take a card like this to a shower and the gift gets put on the floor and they pass my card around!
All I can say is… Awwwwww.
I love the onesie card! I am going to make it for a shower I have this week. I just love my silhouette!
Kelly, you are so darn talented! Everything you make turns out perfect.
