Scrapbook Page using Lettering Delights Shapes

I held my semi-monthly scrapbook group today and I actually was able to work on some of my own pages!  I bought these cute “Summer Treats” shapes as an SVG set from Lettering Delights and they were great for this food page.  The bowl was originally intended to be an ice-cream sundae, but I was able to modify it to get rid of the stem on the glass and turn it into a bowl for baby cereal.  What would I do if I couldn’t alter the shapes I have?  Here’s a close-up:

  • Another Xyron tip
    HI Kelly,
I so much enjoy seeing all of the layouts you create! Here is another little tip for using a Xyron machine:
If you get a sticky residue where you don't want it, try sprinkling a light covering of baby powder on the

'sticky spotand then lightly rub the powder over it. when you are finished doing that shake off the excess powder. Not only will the powder remove the dticky area, it also makes your card smell good! I hope this will be of some help.

  • Wow, I've never heard that one before! I know they also make adhesive erasers, but I've never tried them.

I'd be hesitant to use baby powder on something going in my scrapbook, but maybe for cards that don't need to be archival. 🙂
