Heartland Paper Design Team
Here’s my exciting announcement: I have joined the Heartland Paper Design Team! Heartland Paper is a scrapbook store in Bountiful, Utah. I am so excited! I will be making projects to display in the store, and hopefully will be teaching some classes. If you live in Davis County or close enough to come, please do! It’s a wonderful store full of all the delicious scrapbook and paper-craft goodies we love! Plus, you’ll now be able to see my handiwork in person (*wink*).
Here are some of my first projects I’m submitting:

This is a scrapbook page I made using the adorable “Neighborhood Collection” papers and chipboard stickers from Crate Paper.

This is a tissue box cover I made using paper and embellishments with “To the Moon” from Fancy Pants Designs. I found the idea and instructions on Split Coast Stampers. The instructions and video are great if you want to do it with trimmers and scoring tools, but here I’ve also made a Silhouette cutting file for you using their dimensions. (You’ll need to update your Studio software to the most current version.)
Here are some more views:

I just loved these papers; this tissue box would be so cute in a little boy’s room. I think I need to make some more for other parts of the house. Maybe one for each season…
And here is a card I made with the same Crate Paper “Neighborhood Collection” papers and chipboard. The brad is from Making Memories “In Bloom,” and the fonts used are CAC Shishoni Brush and Calibri. (This is my first time printing on a transparency. Am I behind the times, or what?)

If you live anywhere near Bountiful, Utah, spread the word that Heartland Paper is open and thriving! All the good stuff is here!

Hi Kelly!
Just popped over to see what your blog was about…wow, what a post to start my reading on! Now I want my husband to get the flu just so I can make him this kleenex box.
Off to see what other goodies you have here…
FYI: I just changed the files for the tissue box, slightly, to make them on normal page sizes and without the extras on the lid I added to my own and forgot to remove.
Oh, and Meg, you can just wish allergies upon your husband instead of the flu. Then you have a reason for cute tissue boxes year round! 😉
Kristin says:
I love the idea of seasonal tissue boxes. I can just imagine little Christmas trees and ornaments on the sides along with snowflakes for Winter.
Hi Kelly,
I know we don't really know each other, but I really love your creations and blog. I found you through Silhouette Plus 🙂
Here's your award:

Kelly, that's so exciting! And I agree with Kristin, those would be adorable at Christmas! What a great neighbor (or cousin, haha!) gift!
Amazing tissue box.
Thanks so much for sharing your Studio file.
