Where I’ve Been

I haven’t had much chance to make anything this week because I’ve been with my family on vacation. We’re nearing the end of our trip to Oregon to visit my family, and we’ve had a great time. I have pictures to prove it!  Both of these destinations are within a couple hours of where I grew up.  Pretty, huh?

We’ve done some hiking up to and behind waterfalls, shell-collecting and tidepool observing, eating picnic lunches, relaxing, eating fresh homegrown blueberries and raspberries, and lots and lots of driving!

I have actually made a fun piece of subway art, which I’ll share with you after mid-August.  I’ve entered it anonymously into a challenge on the Silhouette Plus forum so I can’t show it here until voting is over.  I hope to start posting more frequently once the kids are back in school again.
