Graphic Tee

Here’s another shirt where I’ve added fabric paint and heat transfer vinyl (HTV). I cut the sun out of freezer paper (Silhouette settings: speed 3, thickness 10, blue cap on original blade or blade 1 with ratchet blade) and got nice crisp lines when I ironed it down. I painted on a layer of white, let it dry, then added a layer of yellow.
The pink HTV is smooth, and the teal and white are flocked HTV. They take a little more time and pressure to stick down with an iron, but they look wonderful when it’s done. I’ve been very impressed at how intricately this stuff can be cut.
Here’s another shot of the whole shirt. Ironic that this sunny shirt had to be photographed on such a dark, rainy day.

Kelly, Fantastic, you come up with such amazing ideas, I just enjoy popping over here to see what your new projects will be.
Congrats on being featured on the Silhouette blog.

So cute! I need to order some HTV! Is it Silhouette brand?
Dawna, this is actually Siser Easy Weed HTV, which I'm sure is almost identical to the Silhouette brand. I'm using the default cutting settings and it works perfectly.
Lori, thank you so much!
Sooooo adorable.
Funny about the weather.
I can't make it to the open house. Can you tell me when your class will be and the details?
Chrisy, the details for my class are on a new post here.
So very cute!!! I wish it were getting cool enough to wear long sleeves in Arizona!
I'll send cool thoughts your way, Jann. Does that help? 😉
