Birthday Card with Washi
I’ve been collecting Washi sheets and Washi tape, but haven’t used it much. (I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one.) It can join my collection of unused pretty paper. 🙂
But I did use it for this birthday card for my little daughter’s BFF. I cut a scalloped circle with my Silhouette Cameo from yellow full-page Washi sheets by We R Memory Keepers, then the green tape is by Bella Blvd, and the blue and pink are from Queen & Co. I used Martha Stewart fringe scissors on a strip of pink Washi tape so I could curve it on the corner. I added some rhinestones and a birthday sentiment on an ink-jet printable transparency to finish it off. ( I always try to hide my glue dots on clear elements, so it’s hiding under the pink rhinestone.)
Thanks for stopping by today! I’ve got a lot more ideas to share coming soon…

Cheery birthday card…I love how you used the washi tape and sheet.
I'm afraid I haven't gotten on the washi tape and sheet bandwagon. Probably just as well as I have plenty of crafting supplies that aren't being used as it is.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Very cute Kelly. Love the banner out of the washi. TFS
OMG love this. I was trying to figure out what paper you used and then saw that you made it. WOWsers what a great idea. I now need to get that folder. LOL
