Mustache Card
I must confess… There are a few crafting trends that come along and are popular for a while that I just don’t get. Mustaches are one of those trends. I see them everywhere, but I just don’t think anyone getting my cards would appreciate a mustache.
…Except for my brother-in-law, and this is his card. He has an honest-to-goodness handlebar mustache, so he gets a mustache card! I missed his real birthday, but in keeping with my card-making goal this year, I still sent a belated birthday card. This is the inside.
I used yet another Silhouette shape I grabbed during its freebie week. The shape was for a Father’s Day card, but I just replaced the sentiment and tweaked it a little to fit my liking. I print & cut the word balloon and the inside sentiment block, cut the mustache from black cardstock, and ran some kraft cardstock through a Cuttlebug embossing folder then swiped it with creamy brown chalk ink.
If you love using mustaches on your projects, please don’t let my lack of interest with them deter you. I won’t judge you! You can see how popular they are if you just type mustache in the Silhouette online store search feature.
Have a great day, and I’ll see you again soon! I want to show you the success I’m having with my Lifestyle Crafts Letterpress setup.

Jeremy loved his card. Thanks, Kelly.
I am not into using mustaches either. This is a cute card you made and perfect for the person getting it. Hope you are having a nice weekend.
I'm very much into them because I have a son who has one. I've etched one on a coffee mug for him and done some vinyl ones on something-or-other, too; I just can't remember what. I love your card! LOVE IT!
