Super Star! {Interactive Card}
My niece just finished performing in our community-theater musical production of “Fiddler on the Roof.” She played Tevya’s youngest daughter and did a fantastic job. It was a lot of work for an 11-year-old! She was out there singing and dancing with a bunch of adults and teens. This has consumed much of her time the past three months so I wanted to make her a nice card to celebrate.
I enjoy interactive cards and saw this cute idea on Pinterest by Eva. So I used her instructions and made a shooting star for this card. I used Silhouette’s double-sided adhesive and their pink glitter to make the star all sparkly (I applied the adhesive cutout to a piece of cardstock cut with the same star shape so I could pop it off the larger black star with foam dimensional adhesive).
It’s pretty simple to make, but I did find that flat beads really do work the best (mine were some miscellaneous round, flat letter beads sitting in my stash and unused for about a decade).
The camera shape is my own design that I shared in this July 4th post last year. You can download the camera (plus the other parts related to that post) by clicking HERE.

Awesome!
