Cupcake Card

I had to make a birthday card in minimal time (again), and this time chose to sketch a simple design with my Cameo and color it. I chose a single cupcake from the candles Silhouette sketch file.  I used a black American Crafts Ultimate Gel Pen in the Silhouette pen holder to sketch it out and then cut it with an offset.  I colored it with Spectrum Noir markers (I was in a hurry, so please ignore the imperfect coloring job), which worked great with that gel pen.

I hand-drew the lines around the pattern paper block.  I also added a little accent of Gelly Roll Stardust clear gel pen on the flame and the cupcake wrapper.  It’s always hard to catch the shimmer in photos, but it’s there.  And, of course, I popped the cupcake off the page with some foam adhesive.
