Cheese!

 

My Cameo has been helping with our Halloween costumes this year.  (Give me paper over fabric any day!)  My two daughters decided they wanted to be black cats and my youngest son wanted to be a mouse.  To continue on with the theme, they wanted Dad to be a block of cheese.  Silhouette to the rescue!

I snatched this strawberry pie box cutting file from the Silhouette online store and repurposed it for cheese by using two shades of yellow paper instead of pinks, reds, and browns.  Perfect!  I strung a piece of yarn through the ends after gluing it all together and Dad just wore it around his neck.  Quickest Halloween costume ever, and the kids loved it.

Don’t be afraid to use shapes in ways other than for their original purpose.  I love challenging myself to do that.  Give it a try!
