Father’s Day Firecrackers
This is what the kids and I made for Father’s Day this year for our “Dynamite Dad.” They are about 6″ to 7.5″ tall and are filled with his favorite treats. Here are the full details for these Father’s Day Firecrackers, originally posted on the Silhouette Blog.
Just in case you’re not yet ready for Father’s Day, I have another idea for you that will get the kids involved. OK, it’s mostly “adult assembly required” but the kids can write the notes and help pick treats to go inside. They might enjoy decorating the firecrackers, too.
These firecracker 3D shapes in the Silhouette Online Store are so fun! I cut and assembled all three based on the designer’s instructions here (and don’t forget you can find the link for the designer’s tutorial directly from the shape’s description in the online store).
These are boxes, so we picked some of Dad’s favorite treats to go inside.

If you’re on top of things and have already got your Father’s Day gift ready, these firecrackers would be great for Independence Day instead. Happy crafting!
