Silhouette Summit 2025 Announcements

Last week I was able to attend the annual Silhouette Summit in Yokohama, Japan. (This is the event I’ve previously attended in Honolulu, Hawaii, for many years.) As part of the Silhouette America staff for this international event, I was there for long hours of work, but I also had a lot of fun! Let me share the key announcements made at Silhouette Summit 2025, and in another post I’ll share some of the fun things I did in Japan.

Product Announcements

-Introduced a 4-point registration mark system that refines Print & Cut precision. This is currently only a feature of the CAMEO5α series and the CAMEO Pro Mk-II.
-Electrostatic Mat Compatible, with adjustments to the internal structure that now supports materials up to 0.5mm thick on the existing ES Mat.
-Redesigned easy-adjust pinch rollers. Along with improved visibility, it’s now easier to see the position of both the material and rollers for more accurate setup.
-New Fast Sketch Mode – Faster sketching performance that shortens drawing time.
-Includes all the improved features of the original CAMEO5 such as auto crosscutter, repeat job, quiet operation, emergency stop, 5-inch to 12-inch material width, dual tool holder with powered carriage, IPT technology, etc.
-Available in classic white, matte black, matte pink, and bianco carrara — some colors may not be available yet.
– Find my unboxing video for the Cameo 5α HERE (with a comparison to the original Cameo 5)

Support Rollers Set:

-Additional support rollers can be attached to the CAMEO5, CAMEO5α, CAMEO5 PLUS, CAMEO5α PLUS, and CAMEO PRO MK-II
