Perching Butterfly
Here’s another file from the very talented Barbara who also designed this lantern. This is a beautiful butterfly that can perch on a vase, goblet, flower, etc. Can’t you imagine a room full of these butterflies perched on glasses for a wedding dinner or some other nice event?
The file comes with two layers, and it looks great with or without the second layer. I cut the detailed butterfly from double-sided pattern paper (Teresa Collins’ Carolina Breeze collection) so it’s pretty looking at it from either direction.
If you use both layers as in the photo above, you do not need to glue them together. They perch very nicely just layered and unattached.
If you would like to purchase this butterfly file designed by Barbara (in SVG format), please send $3 via PayPal to sweetsandals@gmail.com. She will email the file to you upon receipt of your payment. You should mention it’s the “Perching Butterfly” file you want.
Kelly, your photography is just magnificent! Thank you for showcasing my little guy so beautifully! Hugs!
I love how delicate it is.
Neat concept, but I find myself wondering what other perching critters could be placed atop a drinking glass. Muhahahahah!
Funny you should mention that, because Barbara does have more perching critters. 🙂
Not only is very creative and talented, Barbara is going to be selling her files at my online store very soon. I'm so excited to have her back.
That's great news!
