Teacher Appreciation Gifts

TB_all

I made these for my kids’ gradeschool teachers back in November.  I’m never on the ball for official teacher-appreciation holidays, so we brought each teacher a gift basket during parent-teacher conferences at the end of the first term.  That’s a long week for teachers, and a little gift like this is appreciated any time, I’m sure.

These are a little simpler than the tissue boxes I decorated HERE and HERE, but they were fast and easy, which means they actually get done.  🙂  I used an 8″x8″ paper pad (“The Grade School Stack”) by DCWV, plus some primary-colored cardstock and white cardstock.  Most of the accent pieces came from the paper stack.

If you like the “A to Z” label on these boxes, you can download the print & cut Studio file by clicking on the image below. I just made it with a font I like and part of an older free Silhouette apple file.

I packed these into little plastic totes with a spare box of tissues, disinfectant cleaning wipes, bags or other miscellaneous items needed by that teacher, and a bunch of glue sticks.

If you didn’t get this tissue-box cover Silhouette Studio file from my original post, you can still download it HERE. It basically takes one piece of 12″x12″ cardstock and one matching piece of 8.5″x11″ cardstock for the base, plus pattern paper, white cardstock, and embellishments.
