Sweet Valentine Hanger

I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while.  I had to finish my extended family’s calendar, and then decided to upgrade to Windows 7, and the combination of the two has taken all my spare time since my last post.  No crafts made.  But the good news is I made this valentine hanger last year and I thought I’d share it now.

I used the Silhouette to cut out the scalloped circles, the inner circles, and the letters, then embellished with flowers and tiny self-adhesive rhinestones.  The scalloped circles were cut from double-sided patterned cardstock, so on the backside of “sweet” I put “be mine”.

The font for “sweet” is arriere garde, and the font for “mine” is Impact.  I cut “sweet” from a textured pink Bazzil cardstock.  “Be mine” was cut on plain white cardstock and then run through a Cuttlebug embossing folder for texture.  I used foam adhesive squares to raise up the lettering for “sweet.”

This is still one of my favorite projects I’ve done.  Hope you enjoy it!
