Quick Tip: Label your Creations

How do you cardmakers and crafters label your projects? I want to show you the two stamps I use.

I’ve been using this first stamp for years and years. I ordered it from Stampin’ Up! as an address stamp, but used the three lines to put my own label. Stampin’ Up! may not sell it anymore, but you can order address stamps from lots of places and use the lines to put your own sentiment.

Now that I make more things for design-team work, I ordered another stamp from Vistaprint that has my blog address. Vistaprint is constantly having freebie deals, so I got this small stamp and only had to pay for shipping. It works great.

In fact, with this small size I’m able to stamp on small Avery address label sheets and put my blog label on the back of non-paper projects like frames, or on dark-colored papers where the black ink doesn’t show up.

If you’re not already labeling your cards, address stamps personalized with your own sentiment are a great way to go.

  • Thanks for the link, Kelly! I have been using a generic stamp from Inkadinkado that has a heart and says "Handmade with Love". Would be nice to have my name on something I stamp with though, so thanks for the link ;). Including your blog addy is a nice touch too.

    • You're welcome, Melody. It just adds another personalized touch to handmade cards, or a professional touch if that's the way you want it. 🙂

  • I use small artisan-shaped labels that I cut from sticker paper on my Silhouette. I can say anything I want on them by making a png in PSE and just dragging it onto the label before cutting.
