Calling All Card Makers!

I just found out a great opportunity to use our card-making skills to brighten the lives of those affected by cancer.  Card Care Connection has asked me to help reach the card-making community in order to help.  So here I am, asking for hand-made cards to help in this great cause.

I think most of us know of someone who has dealt with cancer, and why do we make cards except to brighten someone’s day and let them know we care?  This is a great chance to use our talents to serve others.

Please see the Card Care Connection website for details on card specifics and guidelines.  I’m asking anyone who makes cards to make 3 (or more) cards to send in this month to Card Care Connection:

Thank you so much for your help!  The Card Card Connection would love to see photos of your cards, and I’d love to hear how many you send in so I can keep a little tally (my contact information is found under the “About Me” tab at the top of my blog).

These should be uplifting or cheerful messages on the outside, but not religious.  Also avoid “get well soon” and “feel better” messages.  Nothing should be put inside the cards.  All the details are on the Card Care Connection website.

To jump start your creativity, I’m providing a free Studio cut file you can use if you want.  Shawna at Paper Kisses and Inky Wishes has already used this design on a beautiful card!  Thanks, Shawna!

Thank you for your help in this card drive, my friends!
