Merry Christmas!
I just passed the 500,000 mark for all-time page views on my blog! That’s a pretty fun Christmas present, don’t you think? I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, or a very happy day in whatever part of the world you are in, no matter which holidays you celebrate!
This is a screenshot I took as I reached the 500,000 mark. I was talking on the phone long-distance to my parents at the time, so I watched it reach the magical half-million point.
I’m sorry I haven’t been very good at blog posts lately, but I am happy that you still come to visit and see what I’ve been up to. I finished my neighbor Christmas gifts this morning but don’t have the pictures ready to post yet. I made 14 dial calendars and now have to deliver them. I finished just as it started snowing hard, so now I’ve got to brave the weather to go deliver them. Serves me right for procrastinating. 🙂
However, I do have a couple of cards to show you that I haven’t had time to post yet. I made these in November.
This first card is a thank-you card from my youngest son to a friend and his son who gave him some toy trucks. My son chose the robot and I cut it from self-adhesive cardstock and then print & cut the sign.
This next card is a fun 3D card by Lori Whitlock. I bought it during the Silhouette Halloween shape sale. I chose to remove the moon shape and dress up the card so it longer looks Halloween-y, but cute and girly instead. I made this for my friend Debbie (who runs the Silhouette Plus forum) and is recovering from surgery. I love the idea of a 3D card that is standard A2 size when flattened, but is unique and stands up like a box when opened. I just glued my note to the back, since the inside is not really accessible.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Now I’d better go deliver my calendars and start wrapping presents for the kiddos. 😉
