Note Holder
Here’s a fun note holder I found as a tutorial on Split Coast Stampers and converted it into Studio and SVG cutting files. It’s so cute, and only takes a single piece of letter-size paper for the box itself. It’s just a touch bigger than 3.5″ square when assembled.
Supplies:
Pebbles Inc. “Seen & Noted” paper (1 page Howdy)
Copy paper (15-20 pages)
Stamp: Clear stamp by Studio G
Ribbon by Maya Road (less than 12″)
Button
Baker’s Twine
Scor-Tape (1/2” width)
Stamp pad in coordinating color
Hot glue
If you want to make this yourself, take a look at the Split Coast Stampers Tutorial here (I’m not going to re-write all the same steps). You can go through their process with a trimmer and Scor-Pal, but if you have a digital cutter you can download my file that uses their measurements. I even made a PDF file so you can print it and cut it with scissors if you don’t have a cutter.

The note cards with rounded corners are included in the cutting files (not the PDF), and I had to cut 18 pages (6 squares per page) of 20-lb. printer paper to make the box look full enough. Fortunately, I was able to cut these on a speed of 10 with my Cameo (blade 1, thickness 15) so it didn’t take forever. I also went back to an old mat that was barely sticky so the lightweight pages wouldn’t curl.
I stamped the “make a note” sentiment from Studio g on all of the notecards while sitting in front of a nice, cozy fire, so that didn’t seem to take much effort at all. 🙂 The ribbon is attached to the box inside with Scrappy Tape (like Scor-Tape), and the button is glued to the ribbon with hot glue. As mentioned in the SCS tutorial, this acts as both a weight and as a lever for pulling out the note cards.
If you have any questions about this project, please let me know, and I hope the files I made are helpful to you!

Kelly, great stocking project, thanks for sharing, hugs
What a darling project! It would make for a happy desk!
Thanks for sharing your projects and files. I've made so many of your projects. Keep 'em coming.
Hi Kelly,
What a darling idea, so simple and effective. I use colored print papers inside my cards and always have trimmings left over which would be perfect for inside such a box frame. You have the cleverest little (not little in THAT way haha) ideas. Thanks for sharing!
Wishing you a wonderful week,
Barb
