ADORNit Guest Designer and a Giveaway!

This week I’ll have three projects to share over on the ADORNit blog as a guest designer!  And I’m hosting a giveaway for the You & Me collection (which I’ll be showing off on day #2).

Here is my first ADORNit project, which uses the Timberland Critters collection:

Silhouette users, you can find this hexagon box in the Silhouette design store {here}.

I used navy adhesive-backed cardstock for the bank labels on the top, which I just designed in Silhouette Studio by using my text tool.  I typed out each word I wanted in the font Bernard MT Condensed, then ungrouped the word, rotated individual letters and pushed them together to slightly overlap, then welded the word.  That made it a single piece instead of individual letters, which is always nice.
