Quick and Easy Easter Treats

Hello, my friends! How about a little Easter treat inspiration? Yeah, I know Easter is past, but I made these treats in a short afternoon and really want to share them with you! These are some quick & easy Easter treats in case you are short on time but still want to gift handmade.
Soda Bottle Treat
My first project is a soda bottle filled with jelly beans and adhesive vinyl on the outside. I almost threw these bottles away, but my daughter pointed out I could make something with them, and I quickly agreed!
I took off the labels, washed and dried them, then added some pink matte vinyl to the outside. I used Happy Easter with a slight offset to thicken it up a bit before cutting with my Silhouette CAMEO. I also typed “He is risen” with a plain font from my computer in Silhouette Studio.
Vinyl is so fast to cut, weed, and apply with transfer tape to a smooth glass surface like this.

The caps to these bottles had been thrown away, but I was able to use a 1″ circle punch to punch out some cardstock, cover with a few small squares of pink tulle, then tie it with pink baker’s twine.

Easter Treat Boxes
My second project I made the same Easter afternoon is this set of bunny boxes by Carina Gardner. One 12 x 12″ piece of white cardstock and some Silhouette adhesive cardstock in four spring colors was all I needed to make one box for each of my kids.

I enlarged the box to about 4 inches so I could fit in a few treats I couldn’t stuff into plastic eggs. These really only took a few minutes for each box, especially since I could skip the step of adding glue to this specialty cardstock. I tossed in a few treats, and they were finished!

Do you like my hand model? She’s so helpful. ๐

And that’s it! Quick and easy Easter treats to give to my kids and some friends. Just remember to save those bottles and be prepared to buy jelly beans or other little candies suitable for the occasion. ๐

Very cute! So easy to take this Easter Treat and tweak to use for Birthday or any event… or nonevent!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks, Linda, and I agree! I’ve done this for a few holidays, and it would be so easy (like you said) to use for birthdays or any occasion.
These are both such cute projects! I could also see these used for different holidays and occasions ๐
Thanks, Terrie! ๐
They were cute but Easter was the 16th did not get post til 20th
Yes, I acknowledged that in the first paragraph. I squeezed these last couple of projects in on Easter afternoon, then spent the rest of the day with my family. The post had to wait, I’m afraid. ๐
What cool ideas! Thank you!
You’re welcome, Joan! Glad you like them. ๐
