Create a Layered Heat Transfer Design

Create a Layered Heat Transfer Design

Hi, all! My first premium class with Michaels is “Create a Layered Heat Transfer Design” at the end of September. Michaels is now offering some premium classes by Silhouette in addition their selection of free classes, so I will generally be the instructor for Silhouette for these more advanced paid classes each month going forward.

What’s a Premium Class?

Yes, premium classes require a fee. If you’ve watched my other classes, you know I try to pack in as much helpful information as possible. That’s the goal with these premium classes that are targeted towards more advanced users, and the class size will be limited so I can answer questions focused on the project and the tips I share. I’ll dig deeper into both software and material techniques with premium classes, which I often avoid when I’ve got hundreds of beginners watching.

How to Join

To register for this class and watch + ask your questions live, click this Michaels registration link. The class is Wednesday, September 29, at 12 pm CT (11 am MT, etc.).

Class Description

In this premium class, I will broaden your Silhouette skills by showing how to manipulate designs in the Silhouette Studio Software to customize them to your needs. I’ll also demonstrate how to cut a two-part heat transfer design and how to layer two kinds of HTV successfully in order to achieve good adhesion without burning or warping the layers. I will use the Silhouette Cameo 4 cutting machine in class, but you can use any model of Silhouette Cameo or Portrait. The design is free the week of class!

Supplies/Tools Needed

Any questions? Let me know in the comments. This holographic HTV is so sparkly and pretty, so I’m excited to share this fun way to use it in this class. I hope to see you there!
