Online Class: Make a Beautiful Fall Wreath

Make a Beautiful Fall Wreath - by Kelly Wayment for Michaels and Silhouette

My next live online Michaels class is October 27th at 11 a.m. MDT, and I’m really excited about this one! Silhouette paper crafts are my favorite, and I’ll show you how to make a beautiful fall wreath. You can go with the Halloween option or the versatile fall option. Both use the same Silhouette designs and assembly techniques; you just choose the papers and embellishments to match your theme. The class is over, but you can watch the replay below.

I will teach this class as a Premium Michaels class, but it is being offered for free this time as a preview to what you’ll get in other premium classes. The class will be longer than most free classes in order to allow time to dig into the software and/or spend more time on assembly. Class size is limited so I can answer all your questions.

Replay:

Here is the replay, but read below for more details including class supplies and totals I cut for leaves.

Description:

In this Premium class, I will guide you through cutting and shaping leaves with various weights of paper. I’ll share my best Silhouette paper cutting tips, and then show how to assemble a full wreath. Choose your own color scheme for either Halloween or fall. The leaf designs will be provided the week of class. I will use the Silhouette Cameo® 4 cutting machine in class, but you can use any model of Silhouette Cameo or Portrait. Note: If you wish to prepare the leaves in advance, resize the leaves to about 3.5-4” in height, and cut about 5-6 maple and 5 oak leaves from each sheet of 12”x12” pattern paper. Cut about 3-4 maple and 2-3 oak leaves from each sheet of letter-size cardstock.

Register HERE to join me LIVE on October 27, 11 a.m. MDT! This is a premium class, so usually the recording will only be available to those who register. However, Michaels has made this a “premium preview” class, so it’s free and I’ve posted the recording below.

I hope to see you in class! Check out my many other classes HERE.

  • Kelly, I took your Michaels class to make the Halloween wreath and the tips and tricks you gave in the class helped me to cut out the leaves the FIRST time without any ripping or re-cutting. I’ve had my silhouette cameo 3 for three years and I can honestly say that this is the FIRST time I have ever done a project without some problems. Thank you so very much for all of your tips and guidance on this project. Can’t wait to do more with you.
I only wish that this project came a week or so ago so I could have it finished already.

    • Thank you, Diane! I’m so happy my tips helped you to be successful. I would have loved for the class to come earlier in the month, as well. 🙂
