Silhouette Sale + Free Class
It’s Silhouette America’s 13th birthday!
Really, the first Silhouette machine came out in 2008 and I still have mine from 14 years ago, but it was under a different brand (Quickutz) and had archaic software (Craft Robo). Silhouette America became a company and introduced their Silhouette SD machine in 2009, and the Silhouette Studio Software came along! I have had at least one of nearly every Silhouette machine since 2008, and they still fill my life with joy!
They’ve got some sales going on through October 4th that I’ll list below the free class information.
Free Intro Class
How about a free introductory Silhouette class this month? I’ll be teaching a live online class through Michaels Stores and Silhouette America on October 12, 2022. This class is for beginner Silhouette users (and those who are considering a Silhouette machine). The holidays are coming up, so there’s no time like the present to get that machine out of the box and start using it!
Class Name: Make Your First Cut with Silhouette
Class Date & Time: October 12 @ 1pm MT
Description: There’s always one question we get from makers new to our machines: why Silhouette? This class will teach you the Silhouette basics, from choosing your first machine to navigating Silhouette Studio and creating your first project. I’ll use the Silhouette Portrait 3 in class but will discuss the other cutting machines, as well.
Supplies:
- Silhouette Portrait® or Cameo®
- Computer with Silhouette Studio® installed
- Cutting mat and blade
- Paper or vinyl
Class Length: 1 hour
Class Skill Level: Beginner
Recommended age: 13+
