Creating Crepe Paper Flowers on Craftcast
I’m excited to share that I have a class on Craftcast.com that’s all about creating crepe paper flowers! This was recorded live May 16th, 2020, but you can still purchase the class here: Creating Crepe Paper Flowers.
I show you step-by-step how to create this wreath (above). You also learn how to cut, color, and shape crepe paper flowers. I share how to create stems for vase arrangements, too (below). This class highlights the Rotary Blade for the Silhouette Cameo 4, but if you don’t have a Cameo 4 yet (or a rotary blade), I show an alternative to cut with scissors.
I designed these beautiful flowers exclusively for this class. The SVG files for all the flowers and leaves you see here are included with the class purchase. I think you will love it!
Paper flowers have been one of my favorite things to make over the years, and I love being able to use crepe paper as a delicate and realistic medium. I enjoy teaching, and this is a topic I’m really excited to share with you. If you want to take your flower-making skills to the next level (or start as a beginner), you’re sure to pick up some great information in this class.
You can still purchase the recording and gain access to all the SVG files and the PDF handout. Craftcast.com has a coupon code spring2020 through the end of May, where you can get 30% off this or any Craftcast class.

Hi, I am wondering if this class would be appropriate for me since I use Cricut machines. Thanks.
Hi Tina. If you can use SVG files with your Cricut, you are good to go. I can’t give specifics on cutting how-to with Cricut, but most of the class will focus on shaping, coloring, assembling, and arranging crepe paper flowers. I hope you take the class!
