Paperwhites
I’ll be honest, here. I love to make pretty things. I love to show you how to make pretty things so you can do it, too. As I’m creating (anything) I’m always thinking through my head how I would explain it to you. And that holds me back from posting just something I made without an accompanying tutorial.
Today, I’m just going to share this pretty thing with no tutorial. I made these paperwhites out of crepe paper. These are a design by Lia Griffith (my crepe paper idol), so I’ll put a few links below if you want to make these yourself.
Although I’m not including a tutorial on these particular flowers, I do have a paper flower class coming to Craftcast on May 16th, so I hope you’ll join me there for my tips and tricks on creating and arranging crepe paper flowers with the Silhouette Cameo 4. More information on that is available here!
Links to the products I used (affiliate):
- Paperwhite design is in Lia Griffith’s book: Crepe Paper Flowers
- White “linen” and green “fern” extra-fine crepe paper from Lia Griffith’s Secret Garden paper pack
- Silhouette Cameo 4 (still on sale with code TIME2 until May 12th)
- Rotary Blade for Cameo 4
Thanks for stopping by!
Your paperwhites look beautiful! I need to try making flowers with crepe paper. 🙂
Thanks, Terrie! It is a lot of fun. You might want to take my crepe paper flower class!
