Celebrate with me!

I passed one million views on my blog today! One million views since I started my lowly little crafting blog in October of 2010. Gee, that seems like a long time ago, and how things have changed!  I’d like to do a little giveaway to celebrate.  I’m not sure what I’ll be giving away yet, but it will probably be something paper or scrapbook related that I can pick up from my local scrapbook store, Heartland Paper.

Would you like to see my five all-time most popular posts?

(I’ve actually got a couple more dolls to make that Disney has released since that original post, so I plan on making a simpler video tutorial in September once the kiddos are back to school.)

Followed by its closely-related post:

Floral Wreath with Paper Flowers

Well, there you have it!  My five most popular posts (out of 276 to date).  I hope to continue to create and share what I make, and I hope you come back often to visit.
Now back to the giveaway…  Leave me a comment below and let me know your favorite type of project you like to make.  I’ll choose a random winner in about a week.  Good luck!
***WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT***
Random.org told me that out of 25 comments, comment #3 is the winner! Congratulations, SiskiyouSue! Thanks for all the comments and visits, everyone. Now that school is starting up again in a couple of weeks, I hope to soon have more projects and ideas to share.

  • Hi Kelly,
It is so nice of you to have a give away for all of us. Thank you!
My favorite projects are the 3-D projects. It is so much fun to see the reactions on my friends faces when I give them something I've made with my Cameo.

  • Congratulations! I'm not surprised at 1,000,000. I enjoy each post you put out. I make lots of cards, and I'm really into learning my Cameo right now (love that machine). If time allowed I'd try other things, so enjoy seeing them also.

  • My heartiest congratulations to you, Kelly on your achievements – ALL your achievements, including having had one million views of your blog! Whatever good comes your way is certainly deserved, as I know how much you give to others, myself included (with much gratitude)!n I love making 3D items for my home and gifts most, and I treasure you as a friend!

  • I'm thrilled to hear you've reached 1,000,000 visits Kelly – hats off to you! I loved seeing your top 5 and the floral wreath makes me itch to make one too. Your generous sharing of knowledge knows no bounds and I know we'll see another post like this one again soon.

  • I'm very new to this but found you earlier this week! As yet I don't have a favorite project type but am amazed at all the creative possibilities!!

  • Congratulations Kelly!! Love your paper dolls, I like all Disney projects. I like to work with my son making thing on the Cameo, mostly working with vinyl.

  • Great achievement–and I think you can count on many more viewings in the years ahead! Thanks for all the sharing you do. Although I love the card-making process, I have truly enjoyed projects done as gifts for others. Used your princess album file for my granddaughter's 7th birthday. Gave her some embellishments to add once she placed her photos. She loved it!! And have enjoyed using SVGCuts files for a variety of 3-D projects. Amazing how good a Silhouette and someone else's helpful creativity can make a crafter look!

  • Congratulations, Kelly! Of your top 5 shown above, I think my fav is the floral wreath. I still haven't ventured into a vinyl cut but just love messing about with card & paper – those flowers are 'just up my street!'

PS I don't expect to go into the give-away, because as you know, I am in the UK.

  • I've got to go back and revisit the 3D dolls post – anything that combines images with the Silhouette is much appreciated – I've got so much to learn about this marvelous machine. Thanks so much for sharing all your fantastic talent!

  • Congratulations Kelly. I'm looking forward to try some of your projects and keep learning from you. I love all kinds of crafts but my favorite are party planning and decorations, from the invitations to centerpieces. Take care so you can keep sharing your much appreciated knowledge with us.

  • Your Blog is awesome and helped me so much when I first got my Cameo. Now I just love learning from you and love the inspiration you share. You've given so much of your time to help others learn and enjoy their Silhouette machines. Thanks. Hugs!

  • Congrats Kelly!!!! I sure have enjoyed you website and all the tutorials and lessons. You rock!!!! My favorite projects are boxes of all kinds, like your card box. That makes an awesome gift when filled with cards and stamps.

  • My favorite type of projects are Christmas ornaments. BTW, I love that paper wreath. May have to make me one of those!

  • Congratulations Kelly on reaching one million views, you deserve it. Thanks for all the files you share with us, they are awesome, particularly love your flower files.

  • CONGRATS!!! Thanks for all your tutorials and always being so helpful – especially on the Silhouette Forum. Here is to the next million views!

  • Within the last few weeks I have found your blog. I think from Silhoutte. I love your projects. Right now what I like making most on my Cameo is the little containers that I can put candy in for teacher-type gifts, and holders for gift cards. I am getting ready to try my first vinyl project to make a sign for a friend.

  • Congratulations on a million views!
I have been wanting to make the cute princess mini album that you created. I live near Heartland Paper and every time my daughter sees that project she asks me to buy it for her! Thank you for your efforts and talents.

  • Congratulations!
I love working with vinyl. I always thought cards were always "over my head" until I started seeing all the CAS cards on Pinterest. Now I'm trying to accumulate papers and bling to indulge that new hobby:)

  • congrats on the success of your blog. I am a new follower. I tried to start a blog myself. I have to say it is not as easy as many believe. Coming up with original things to post and having the discipline to post regularly takes more of a commitment than people realize. I love your blog and look forward to your future posts. Again congratulations on the milestone!~

  • As someone who has an on line presence just for the benefit of others to learn, I appreciate the effort you must go to with your blog!
I am new to all this but think my favourite projects are the albums, they are so easy to adapt to different people and occasions.
