I almost forgot… It’s my blog’s 4th anniversary today! Thanks to all my loyal viewers who come visit on a regular basis. And thanks to my new visitors who’ve found me from other blogs, Pinterest, and Instagram. I hope you all come back often! Lately …
Thanks for coming back to see my next project for ADORNit. I haven’t done a scrapbook page in ages, but this beautiful You & Me collection inspired me. Here’s my layout: I used my Silhouette CAMEO to sketch my journaling directly on the page and …
This week I’ll have three projects to share over on the ADORNit blog as a guest designer! And I’m hosting a giveaway for the You & Me collection (which I’ll be showing off on day #2). Here is my first ADORNit project, which uses the …
Have you tried the new Silhouette PixScan™ mat yet? Do you know what to do with it? I am really loving mine, so I want to share a few examples of what you can do with it. We’ve been using mine for school projects and …
Today I’d like to showcase these pocket tags by Kolette Hall and share an assembly tutorial. There are several variations of pocket tags by Kolette available in the Silhouette design store (numbers, alphabet, Halloween countdown, themed shapes, etc.), but assembly is basically the same for …
This has been the busiest start to the school year we’ve ever had. I guess that makes sense, now that I’ve got all four kids in school. At least part of every day. But my Silhouette CAMEO has been getting a workout with school assignments …
The first large project I made when I bought my CAMEO in 2011 was a haunted house, and I thought it would be fun to revisit this project and create a new house for my fall decorations. I started with the luminara haunted house …
Are you looking for a simple kids craft? How about cutting out some chipboard shapes, which your child can then wrap with twine or yarn? We added these chipboard shapes to a school tissue box for each child. I wanted to let my kids help …
While back-to-school shopping, my little girl who loves bright and flamboyant clothing saw a fancy Minnie Mouse shirt that she loved. Too pricey. But nearby were some inexpensive, plain but bright pink shirts. I knew I had all the materials (and my Silhouette Cameo) at …
Here’s a fun card you can use for students of any age using this week’s free shape. I chose to fill one of the frames with a cute pattern, used printable white sticker paper for all of the print-and-cut elements, and mounted them on chipboard …
Fall is just around the corner, which is my favorite time of year. I’m happy to say goodbye to the summer heat and welcome the cool nights. But there are still gorgeous flowers all around! I wanted to fill my 2012 Advent Frame with beautiful …
I made this rainbow-colored set of chevron birthday cards for the young women in our neighborhood. The chevron square background is my own design, but the cute little sketched flags are in the Silhouette online store, all ready to be sketched and cut. Originally I …

I made a set of notes and envelopes to have ready to write on and toss into my kids’ lunches this school year. (Actually, I threw in some generic feminine cards with vellum envelopes, too.) The more I have ready, the easier it is …
I’m so excited I was asked to be a guest designer for Imaginisce this month! They sent me all the goodies from their Little Princess collection and let me play with them however I wanted. Two of the projects are featured on their blog today, …
I’ve got another owl shirt tutorial up on the Silhouette America blog today. This time it’s a rhinestone owl shirt for daughter #2. She helped me position all the rhinestones in the right place (we used four colors). Originally posted on the Silhouette blog, now …
OK folks, my Silhouette CAMEO has once again broadened my craft interests. My daughter wanted an owl-themed birthday party, which we did. I had purchased a yard of owl fabric to make some kind of pillow for her, and though time was running out I …
I’ve got a couple of guest designer posts for Imaginisce coming up, and for one of the projects I used my tissue box cover (a Silhouette Studio file). I made this available as a freebie a few years ago, but I revised the file a …
